Social Security and Disability

Social Security consists of representation of people who have applied for both Social Security disability (SSD) and supplemental security income (SSI). This can mean anyone from birth through retirement age. We tend to focus on people 18 years and older. Even if you have retired, whether early or at full retirement, you may be eligible for either SSI or SSD. The representation can begin prior to application. It includes the application process, the appeal process, the hearing process, the collection of reports and medical records, preparation for hearing, attendance at hearing, and, if necessary, appeals to the Appeals Council and Federal Court.
